These are photographs of the retina, a light sensitive tissue which lines the back wall of the inside of the eye. The retina acts like the film in a camera - when there was still film in cameras... Images enter the eye through the pupil and are projected onto the retina. These photographs are used to document and to help diagnose sight threatening diseases. As an ophthalmic photographer, I am proud to be associated with a team of professionals who are dedicated to preserving vision.
